The light at the end of the tunnel

If Grandma's condition continues to be stable, the doctors will move her out of the ICU to the regular floor tomorrow! Praise God!! I am so happy to hear that, since that means the doctors do not consider Grandma to be in critical condition anymore. Grandma is trying to talk more and she is asking when she can go back home. She is now slowly returning to her normal self, always considering others before herself even when she is not feeling well. These are all huge signs of improvement, from being in a coma to possibly moving out of the ICU. For me, this is my Christmas miracle =)

We all know that our days are numbered, and that one day our time on earth will come to an end. I don't know what God has planned for Grandma (or any of us), but I do know that these past two weeks have been a huge testimony to me of God's faithfulness and provision. I know many of you have been praying with perseverance and great faith- God heard everyone's cries for Grandma and answered in a way so we could see His wonders, even with our small faith.

Please continue to pray for Grandma's recovery, and for tomorrow's move to the regular floor. Being on the regular floor will also mean there are less restrictions on visiting hours, so Grandma will get to see her family more. Praise God for all that He has done, the big and small things!

These verses come to mind when I think about how wonderful God is.

Psalm 89: 5-8 (NIV):

"The heavens praise Your wonders, Lord, Your faithfulness too, in the assembly of the holy ones. For who in the skies above can compare with the Lord? Who is like the Lord among the heavenly beings? In the council of the holy ones God is greatly feared; He is more awesome than all who surround Him. Who is like You, Lord God Almighty? You, Lord, are mighty, and Your faithfulness surrounds You."
